Mid-South Community College ensures a safe and secure campus, whether it's 7:30 in the morning or 9:30 at night. Security cameras and security personnel monitor the facilities and the parking lots.; and red emergency phones, which connect automatically with campus security personnel, are available in each building.
MSCC employs off-duty officers from various law enforcement agencies to ensure a safe environment conducive to maximum learning. Security officers are responsible for law enforcement, security, and emergency response, and they are empowered to enforce all federal, state, and local laws.
The college automatically enrolls all personnel and students in an emergency alert system which sends emails and text message alerts to their telephones to inform the campus community about threatening weather problems, fire, or other threats to campus safety.
The annual campus crime report is available on-line and can be accessed by a link on this page.
